AP PolyCET – Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test

AP PolyCETAP Polycet is a state level entrance examination which is organized by the Andhra Pradesh state board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET). The examination is held for the candidates who want to take admission in engineering and non-engineering technical courses. On the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test the candidates will get admission in various polytechnic colleges. AP Polycet 2017 Exam Dates

AP Polycet 2017 Application Form

  • The candidates will get the AP Polycet 2017 application form from the third week of March till second week of April 2017.
  • The candidates will get the application form through online mode. The candidates can fill the application form with the help of the guidelines given in the prospectus.
  • More details regarding application form and how to fill procedure will be updated as soon as the application form will be announced.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates shall be an Indian National.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates should have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Secondary Education.
  • Candidates belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ other examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. govt should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
  • Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for AP Polycet 2017.
  • There is no age limit for appearing for AP Polycet.

AP Polycet Exam Pattern

The question paper will come from class X level. The exam pattern is discussed below.

  • Mode: paper & pencil based test
  • No. of Questions: There will be 120 Multiple choice  questions from class X Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.
  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be two hours.
  • Marking Scheme: All questions will carry equal marks.
  • Negative marking: No negative marking in the question paper

AP Polycet 2017 Admit Card

The candidates can download the admit card from the official portal. AP Polycet admit card will contain the information like name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate, date of birth and exam venue etc.

AP Polycet Answer Key

The answer key will be declared in the official website. The candidates can check their marks and score form the answer key. The answer key will be declared after one/two weeks of the examination.

AP Polycet Result

The AP Polycet result will be declared through the official website in the second week of May 2017. After the declaration of the result the merit list will be prepared. On the basis of the merit list the candidates will be called for the counselling process.

AP Polycet 2018

AP Polycet 2018 (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance examination. This exam will be organized by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.Through this exam, candidates will get admission to the various engineering & non-engineering courses.

AP Polycet 2017 Counselling

The AP Polycet counselling will be notified in all leading newspapers after declaration of the results. The candidates can opt for any course of polytechnic in order of priority and the allotment shall be made for his/her best preferred choice based on the merit list. The counselling will be held in the month of June/ July tentatively.
